For tax year 2024, 1099s for Third Avenue Value Fund, Third Avenue Small-Cap Value Fund, and Third Avenue International Real Estate Value Fund have been distributed.  Due to its investments in U.S. Real Estate Investment Trusts (“U.S. REITs”), the Third Avenue Real Estate Value Fund 1099s will be distributed on or before March 17, 2025. This delay is common for funds that invest in U.S. REITs because critical information from U.S. REITs is often not available until late January or February, necessitating a 30-day extension.
